Session Four: Protest Songs

The revolution will not be televised. But the revolution will be sung. Protest songs comprise a unique genre spanning across a multitude of issues and many eras of recorded music. Is there a song that relates to the way you protest something? Maybe you’ve got a throwback to the 1960s great tracks from Bob Dylan and Bob Marley. Or perhaps you’ve heard something related to climate change, racial discrimination, or late-stage capitalism that rings true. Bring a song that holds up a protest sign, so to speak.
